Clinical Experience: Are you searching for a sacred supervision journey of excellence and expansion? An experience that is holistic, curious, non-judgmental, embodied, and thus modeled? Do you feel overwhelmed by the laws and ethics set forth by the state? We will lean into those as guideposts so that you grow confident in your abilities to provide services that are supported by the board through information and resourcing. Are you interested in an eclectic set of tools by which to view your clients’ problems? I specialize in a transpersonal, strengths based, person-centered, humanistic approach integrating traditionally successful modalities like EMDR, NLP, CBT, Family Systems, Internal Family Systems, and Narrative Therapy with an eclectic weave of expressive interventions including inner child exploration, existentialism, art, music, film, sand tray, nature and play therapies, dream-work, guided imagery, and movement. Do you want to learn how to incorporate somatic exploration into your sessions with clients by first incorporating them into our time together? We will pull out mats to do that. Or gather in a pool. I have nearly twelve years’ experience in the field of psychotherapy working with children, teens, and adults. Nearly nine of which have been in private practice. I can help you develop the skills of private practice including treatment plans, note keeping, marketing, and office/admin setup. I have so much enthusiasm for the arts and sciences of psychotherapy to share with you. It has been my experience for many years in this field, that clients do not have to live by the negative symptoms that accompany trauma, oppression, grief, and the like. It has been my life’s work to help others stop living their fears and socially imposed limitations, and instead, reclaim their choices, hopes, and dreams. If my offerings feel like the next right choice for you, reach out to me. My doors are open wide and all are welcome in celebration of your unique self.
Areas of Interest: I specialize in all three forms of trauma - acute, chronic, and complex, grief (loss), attachment, major life transitions, and oppression, as well as: addiction, adoption, aging and meaning making, anxiety, body positivity, chronic pain, codependency, depression, divorce and relationship conflict/disconnect, identity exploration and affirmation including gender/sexuality/religion, etc., infertility, LGBTQ, life transitions (changes), marital and pre-marital counseling, mindfulness, pregnancy, pre-natal and post-partum, self-esteem, spirituality exploration, stress, women’s issues, and private practice coaching/supervision.

Clinical Experience: I have been dedicated to the behavioral and mental health field since 2013, gaining valuable experience through a variety of work and volunteer roles. My journey across diverse treatment settings has given me a robust and well-rounded clinical background. I have successfully treated clients facing a range of challenges, including: substance use, anxiety, depression, trauma, women's issues, domestic violence, sexual issues, relational issues, grief, suicide, self-harm, anger management, self-esteem issues, eating disorders, and major life changes. I previously served as a clinical supervisor at an 88-bed residential facility for women dealing with substance use and dual diagnosis. In this role, I managed counselors and case managers, enhancing my leadership and supervisory skills. Currently, I am the Lead Therapist at Women Empowerment Counseling (WEC), a private practice that embraces a holistic approach to mental health and wellness. Here, we view our clients as whole human beings rather than just their symptoms or diagnoses. Our practice integrates mindfulness services into therapeutic work and as standalone offerings, focusing on healing root causes while providing symptom relief
Areas of Interest: My supervision style is personalized and supportive, aiming to identify and nurture individual strengths while offering guidance in areas needing improvement. I approach this with an open mind, free of judgment, and often think outside the box. My goal is to help you build on your passion for helping others, providing a space for you to explore and pursue your professional aspirations. I draw inspiration from the excellent mentors and supervisors I have had, and I strive to continue their legacy by providing the same level of support and knowledge. My role is to help you become the best counselor you can be. I prefer group supervision due to the powerful dynamics it offers. In a group setting, you can gain insights and perspectives from peer experiences, fostering feedback and thoughtful discussion. Group supervision also allows you to network with local mental health professionals, enhancing your professional connections. I provide weekly group supervision sessions and ongoing individual support throughout the week as needed. Our supervision is more than just a weekly meeting; it offers fluidity, connection, and continuous support between sessions. I believe that even as a teacher, mentor, and supervisor, there is always room for learning. This philosophy makes me a stronger supervisor and reinforces the value of group supervision in professional growth. My approach is designed to help you grow and build confidence in your craft, preparing you to achieve your professional goals and become the best therapist you aim to be. If this approach resonates with you, let's schedule a meeting to see if we are the right fit for your supervision needs.

Clinical Experience: I have been in the counseling field since 2005 with experience working with different populations such as athletes, individuals, couples, families, children, eating disorders and substance abuse. I worked at an eating disorder center for a total of 8 years with different levels of care from admission, residential and day program. During that time, I also supervised students working towards their Masters. I also got involved for a year at a nonprofit organization, helping those of different ages and challenges. The following year, I worked at a co-occurring substance abuse facility. Then I took a sabbatical to raise my children. I have a year experience working at a group practice as a Clinical Director and Primary therapist working with diverse populations of adolescents, young adults and adults and couple’s work. As well has providing supervision for clinical staff. In 2021, I opened my own private practice working with diverse populations such as Athletes with performance anxiety, individuals, and couples.
Areas of Interest: I practice mainly EMDR with a variety of my clients especially athletes. I also use CBT and Person-centered approach when meeting the client’s where they are at. I also work with individuals trying to connect more to themselves and understand how they fit in the world, who are challenged with anxiety (such as performance, social, generalized, panic attacks), PTSD trauma work, addictions recovery, anger management, relationship issues, and depression. Expectations for supervision is a place to continue to grow and strength one’s professional identity on an ever-growing journey. Supervisees will explore ways to be the best version of themselves at this chapter of growth. One is not expected to have answers in the moment but the willingness and drive to find different possible solutions. Professional identity is not formed but discovered. The time will be spent being vulnerable as a way for introspection of reflecting and evaluating one’s own skills, ability, cultural sensitivity, and connection for helping clients. In return, supervisees should also expect feedback, normalization of the process as well as discussion for treatment planning for best care and welfare for your clients. I invite you to visit my website to learn more about my practice, my approach, services, and my QS service. If interested, email or text to schedule a supervision consult to explore your specific goals, share my approach, and identify if we’re the right fit. Clinical Experience: I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, currently practicing in Florida for the past 10 years. As a proud North Carolina native, it was home where I established a foundation for my commitment to mental health advocacy. I knew at a very young age that a career in mental health was going to be my avenue to change the world. I have been in the field of mental health for many years, gaining a multitude of experience by working in all levels of care – inpatient hospitalization, PHP, IOP, and outpatient. I have spent time working with treatment centers to teach how to effectively document the level of care clients are attending. I have also worked with insurance companies to ensure clients are receiving the appropriate care. I started my private practice with a passion to break the stigma surrounding mental health in the Black and Brown communities. My private practice, Lynn eTherapy, PLLC, focuses on offering mental health therapy services to a diverse range of clients.
Areas of Interest: I am interested in working with interns who are passionate about serving culturally diverse communities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those dealing with mood disorders, personality disorders, addiction, and sex therapy. I enjoyed my work with children, but after switching mostly to adults, I found my passion in working with adults and specifically ones with early childhood traumas. I enjoy EMDR, but I still do more talk therapy utilizing CBT techniques.

Clinical Experience: I started my journey in the mental health field by being a crisis line volunteer in 2011, and also being actively involved in training the Alachua County Police Department in suicide prevention and crisis intervention. I then moved on to my master's program and completed my practicum at The Faulk Center for Counseling, which provided an invaluable foundation for supervision as a new clinician. For years after graduation, I worked for various private child welfare agencies as well as Drug Court in the tri-county area. This experience exposed me to heavy and complex cases involving abuse and helped me learn to maintain firm boundaries while still being active in helping individuals and families regain stability. In 2019, I joined a group practice where I have been able to further focus on my passions and specializations in perinatal mental health and trauma. My goal as a supervisor is to provide a person-centered environment where appropriate guidance and open-mindedness helps to nourish your development. Collaborating as we take your strengths and needs into account is key to helping you grow as a clinician. As we build our relationship and develop a rhythm, I will encourage you to also find your voice and advocate for your changing needs. This advocacy will be encouraged to be practiced towards me as your supervisor as well as other professionals who are part of your process towards licensure. By the same token, I will be open about expectations for our supervision in the same way that you will approach expectations in therapy towards your client. When needed, I will provide more practical feedback to assist when clients are stuck or when they need a more specific approach. You already have many talents and strengths within you, and our priority is to identify those strengths and learn to apply them as part of your style as a therapist. Becoming a therapist is a life changing journey, and I would be honored to help you in navigating this new path.

Clinical Experience: As a seasoned mental health professional, I bring a wealth of experience across diverse workplace settings including schools, hospitals, private practice, and telehealth. A significant portion of my expertise stems from my tenure at a Children's Hospital, where I worked extensively with adolescents and parents. My role involved providing individualized therapy in both in and outpatient settings, facilitating group therapy sessions, leading Intensive Outpatient Pro
gram (IOP) groups, and delivering virtual therapy. Currently, I own and operate a thriving private practice, primarily serving young adults dealing with depression, anxiety, and life transitions. Additionally, my decade-long experience in managing a fitness studio has honed my skills in effective employee management, exceptional customer service, and clear communication. Recognizing the significant connection between physical health and mental well-being, I have pursued certifications that enable me to incorporate health, nutrition, and movement into therapeutic interventions. Many anxiety issues are deeply intertwined with lifestyle factors, and addressing these holistically can lead to more comprehensive and effective treatment. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and expertise with future interns, providing them with a unique perspective that blends mental health counseling with health and wellness strategies. Interns under my guidance will learn to approach therapy with a holistic mindset, understanding the critical role that nutrition and physical activity play in mental health. I have extensive history working with individuals at varying levels of care, including inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient. More recently, I work with adults in private practice on an outpatient basis. I am trained in DBT and EMDR, and utilize both in my practice. I approach therapy with a collaborative, intersectional, and inclusive framework, maintaining a client-centered and compassionate lens.

Clinical experience: My approach to clinical supervision is similar to my approach to therapy. I believe that the goal of supervision is not simply to complete your required hours or to give competent care to your clients. What I teach interns is how to take their skills and their work to the next level. In addition to what you might normally receive from supervision as the review of your cases, suggestions for treatment approaches or interventions, addressing countertransference, ethics guidance, etc. In my supervision work, I help you deal with real-life complex questions that affect your clients. You’ll learn how to balance indirect therapy approaches where you help the client find their own best answers, with more direct therapeutic interventions where you need to take a little more control for a short while to help reassure your client and give them hope, or to prevent them from causing irreversible damage to their relationships. In my work with interns, I also incorporate training in clinical documentation with templates and protocols to help you alleviate the paperwork stress. I provide bilingual supervision in English-Spanish
Areas of interest: My areas of interest are compiled into the DSM 5 groups as Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar & Related Disorders,, Neuro-Developmental Disorders, Trauma & Stressor-Related Disorders, Disruptive, Impulse-Control & Conduct Disorders, And Other Conditions That May Be Focus of Clinical Attention.

Clinical experience: I’ve earned a Masters’ degree from Barry University, with dual specialties in marriage, family and couples therapy and mental health counseling. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, registered with the Florida Board of Marriage and Family Therapy, a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC). I am also an Intuitive Joy Life Coach, trained with the Coaching and Positive Psychology Institute (CaPP Institute) as well as received individual intensive intuitive healing training. My time with individuals and couples is focused on a humanistic and strength-based foundation to allow for clients, connection, self-discovery and healing. It is through not only my professional experience that I engage in our work together, but I show up with my own real life experience in loss, shifts in points of view, walking through a battlefield of change and finding ways to shed an old skin to come to the other side of things more empowered and full of joy than imagined that inspires a belief that there is always more for you and a faith that you are 100% the author of your own story.
Areas of Interest: As someone who practices marriage and family therapy, I naturally focus on relationships. I believe that we are all a reflection of our relationships and that we tend to envision who we are based on the part we play in these partnerships and what our loved one believes about us. We make life plans with all this in mind. It is because of the impact our connections have on us, that I understand the need to help those dealing with transitions around your relationships, whether they be romantic, career or with yourself. These changes can be you realizing the position you imagined you were in is transforming, slipping away or even ending, and you now need help to figure out who you are and what you will do following this new shift in your journey. Within each new turn in life, there is an opportunity for self-discovery, exploring questions about your actual needs and gaining strength to move forward in a healthy way. This journey does not have to be taken alone and my goal is to support and move beside you until you are again able to ride the waves, more empowered than when you began.

Clinical experience: I spent the early portion of my career working at a well-known, long-term treatment facility for addictions, behavioral issues, personality disorders, etc. We focused a lot on dysfunctional family of origin dynamics, trauma, and teaching effective coping skills for regulating emotion. Since 2017 I have been in private practice specializing in trauma and addiction (which I believe go hand in hand). In particular - complex trauma, early trauma intervention, attachment trauma, and dissociative disorders. I utilize a trauma-informed approach with all clients and conceptualize all cases through that framework. I believe it’s important for clients to dig deep and do their work in order to heal old wounds and to stop dysfunctional patterns from continuing. I do a lot of EMDR therapy and provide consultation to new EMDR clinicians who are interested in improving their skills and getting certified. I founded the Southeast Florida Trauma Recovery Network which is a group of volunteer EMDR therapists who respond to community disasters by providing pro bono EMDR therapy to survivors. I was heavily involved with the Parkland recovery efforts after the Stoneman Douglas shooting and treated several dozen traumatized individuals, pro bono. I use a good mix of validation, challenging, and humor in my clinical work.

Areas of Interest: I am most passionate about the counseling process itself given the significant life changes that are produced from the process. Perhaps I am most intrigued with addressing Mental Health issues given the depth of emotional dysfunction that is a part of it.

Clinical experience: My supervision experience for licensure was a struggle for me due to him not being engaged with me through education and the clinical guidance that I wanted. Therefore, I make a point to educate and guide through this process. My primary goal is to prepare you for the Florida examination and teach you the clinical skills needed to be successful in private practice. While I have done agency work and provided supervision during that time I would be best suited for someone moving towards clinical private practice. I have been doing this for almost 5 years now and I enjoy the work of seeing clients grow in skill building and return to a normal level of functioning. An hour of supervision with me would include a warm greeting, clinical concerns through classwork or individual counseling, and preparation for the Florida examination. I consider myself easy going and non-judgmental. I have a curious thirst to be the best psychotherapist I can be by reading journals and attending seminars throughout the year to keep up with the latest trends and research in the field. My supervision session fee is $55
