Clinical experience: I completed my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Florida International University. I also completed my Master's level internship at Broward Outreach Center where I was able to provide therapy to the most vulnerable populations. I started my private practice, Reimagine Life, LLC, in 2017, where I was able to gain more experience and become more passionate for working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and life transitions. Over the past 4 years, I worked as Assistant Clinical Director at The Bougainvilla House where I was able to strengthen my clinical work, grow professionally, and focus on my niche in working with adolescents and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
Areas of interest: I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, life transitions, anger management, and ADHD. I appropriately use evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, where I create a safe space for clients to share their experiences and grow confidently. Furthermore, I also work with children to help manage emotions, improve behavior, and incorporate play therapy techniques to normalize and process life experiences and transitions.
